Jeremy Bonderman struggled mightily in the first inning before recovering to give the Tigers a chance to erase the deficit. Gary Sheffield’s two-run home run provided his answer to a fifth-inning fracas, and put Detroit up for good en route to an 8-4 victory over Baltimore Monday night at Comerica Park.
